Marla Brown – Deliverance EP

00

The Crown Prince of Reggae, the late Dennis Brown, was undoubtably talented and remains one of Jamaica’s finest legend. Although he is no longer with us, his sweet vocals and talent continues to shine through his youngest daughter, Marla Brown, who carries his legacy forward.

Marla Brown’s new debut EP called Deliverance, has beautiful tracks such as Better Days, on Royal Order Music’s Smart riddim, released earlier this year.

Devoted to the Reggae cause, Marla Brown’s passion can be heard by the intricate effort put into each track.

It can be further seen by her EP cover of her upon a sea of album vinyl, from many great legends whom influence her including her father. The EP, Deliverance has a smooth reggae flavour with a modern roots aspect and guest appearances from Runkus and Kabaka Pyramid.

Its evident that time and love has been put into this EP, each song carries its own positive message. There is certainly a bright and promising future for the Crowned Princess of Reggae and we can’t wait to see what else Marla Brown will contribute to Reggae Music.
