Damian Marley wins third Best Reggae album Grammy
An absent Damian Marley was named winner in the Best Reggae Album category of the 60th annual Grammy Awards. He won for his fourth solo studio album Stony Hill which was released on the Republic Records label.
The announcement was made during the pre-telecast at the Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Marley had previously won Grammy Best Reggae Album trophies for Half Way Tree and Welcome to Jamrock.
Stony Hill was released in July 2017. It spent several weeks atop the Billboard Reggae album chart. It has to date sold more than 18,000 copies in the United States according to Nielsen Music.
